The inspiration for Gametime came 25 years ago. Our founder, Marcus Robinson, had a good friend who exposed him to graphic design as a way to express his creativity through digital art. When this friend, Roland Harris, suddenly passed, it was left to Marcus and their mutual friend, Jimmy Dunlap, to continue the journey.
In the time since, Marcus and Jimmy have worked diligently to honor the legacy of their dear friend, brother, and hero by creating an online sports art gallery to give back and mentor aspiring young artists. "Thanks to Roland for creating that spark in us. We now can allow high school students to gain exposure, develop soft skills, and nurture their talents to become successful entrepreneurs and future leaders," says the two best friends.
Besides showcasing exclusive items online, we invite sports fans to see the Coopersburg MLB World Series Bat Art Collection in person. The pop-up exhibit features MLB clubs that have won a championship during the past 120 years. Limited edition souvenir baseball bats will be on display through the end of the year at our Gametime Team Shop Factory Outlet Store at the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall in Aurora, Illinois.
